Support Bocuse d’Or USA

The First Lady’s Fall 2010 Kitchen Garden Harvest Washington, D.C. October 21

An invitation was extended to the Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation to the Garden Harvest event on the South Lawn of the White House. This event was part of Mrs. Obama’s Let’s Move program … a nationwide initiative to promote making healthy choices, improving food quality in schools, increasing access to healthy, affordable food, and increasing activity to prevent obesity.

The White house executive Chef, Cris Cumerford and Executive Pastry Chef, Bill Yosses, along with Sam Kass, Senior Policy Adviser For Healthy Food Initiatives, have been instrumental in gaining momentum for this program.
